Dr. Harwindar Singh ACCA (UK Grad), FCIA (Mal), FPNA (Aus), DBA (CSU)

Dr. Harwindar  Singh  is  a  consultant  and  trainer  in  the key areas  of finance, strategy mapping and development of management competencies. Dr. Harwindar  has  more  than  20  years  of  experience  in  various industries,  working  initially  for  a  manufacturing  multi-national  corporation (MNC), then  commercial  banking  with emphasis on credit marketing and

business  development and  is  now  a  well  regarded  business  consultant  whose  business  advisory  services  are  much  sought  after for budgetary control systems, strategy and KPI implementation, credit control and personal and corporate finance in all sectors : government, banking and commercial. 

As  a  trainer,  he  has  worked  with government agencies such as Bank  Negara  Malaysia  and  Danamodal,  Bank  Industri, The Securities Commission of Malaysia,  The Malaysian Navy.  In the banking and commercial sector Standard  Chartered Bank,  the Maybank  group,  Telekom  Malaysia,  NEC  Semi-conductors,  STAR, Australian Society of CPAs,  Association of Finance Companies Malaysia (AFCM), Kontena Nasional, Petronas… and  many  others.  In  addition to conducting  problem-solving  in  house  training,   he  is  a  regular  speaker  at  public  programs  and  conferences.  Dr. Harwindar has also developed several financial models to assist corporate clients and financial institutions in automating their financial analysis needs. In the area of personal financial management, he has established a strong reputation and is a highly regarded speaker in CPE training for Stock Market professionals,  Wealth Management sessions for Corporate Executives (including in-house sessions for Shell for several years now) and is also actively involved in training professionals pursuing the CFP and CFA programs. The last five years have seen his expertise being sought after internationally for government and corporate agencies including The River Nile State of Sudan and Maldivian government agencies. 

Dr. Harwindar  graduated  as  an  accountant  in  1984  as  a  member  of  The  Association  of  Chartered  Certified  Accountants  (ACCA -  UK).  He  is  currently a Fellow Professional   Accountant (FPNA) of  the  NIA  and  also a Fellow  member  of  The  Institute  of  Commercial and Industrial  Accountants,  Malaysia,  having  served as  its  past  President. He  completed  his Doctorate in  2004  with the  Cambridgeshire University of  New York. Of  late,  Dr.  Harwindar  Singh  is  increasingly  called  upon  to  undertake  Leadership Development Workshops; consultative  training;  on-going  finance  advisory  functions  for  a  select  group  of  clients in areas such as balanced scorecard implementation, creating strategy canvases for blue ocean market development, performance enhancement, problem solving and decision making competencies; as well as senior management advisory work.
