Mohan Selvaraju (MSc (UTM), CMILT International)

Mohan Selvaraju is specialized in the areas of store management, warehousing & inventory control and Supply Chain Management. He has more than 27 years work experience in these areas and has worked in various multinational sectors ranging from manufacturing, trading, retailing to construction & information technology. With specialized qualifications & his years of relevant experience working in various companies spanning all the major sectors of industry in Malaysia, Mohan is well placed to impart & share his wide experience & knowledge in the areas of Warehousing, Store & Inventory, Materials Planning, Logistics, Shipping, and Purchasing & Materials Management. He also has working experiences in the areas of Business Re-engineering Process & TQM.

Therefore he is well placed to obtain his Masters of Science from UTM majoring in Transport Planning. He also holds degree in Logistics & Transportation from Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport UK. He also has a Certificate in Quality Management Training (ISO Train the Trainer) 

His last appointment was as Senior Regional Logistics Manager for an internationally recognized Malaysian corporation engaged in both manufacturing & retailing activities. Mohan Selvaraju is also currently one of the selected lecturers for the Asian Institute of Productivity & Quality Management (AIPQM), Shah Educational System (BATC - UTM).  He is also a Council member of the Charter Institute of Logistics & Transport as well as Malaysian Association of Productivity. He is also a part time lecturer with CILT. 

Besides conducting trainings (both in-house & public training) throughout East & West Malaysia, Mohan Selvaraju has also travelled regionally to conduct trainings. Some of the corporate clients he has conducted in-house training include Petronas Carigali in Kemaman, West Port, Kuantan Port, Kontena National, MISC, PeriHory Formwork Construction, Basis bay IT Solutions, Unilever, CPC-AJI, Harpers & Diethelm,  Healwell, Tyco Electronic,  etc 

With more than 27 years of experience in both manufacturing & service industries and having gone through the entire organization in a manufacturing environment, he is well placed to assist organizations in taking a quantum leap in store warehouse, managing purchasing, materials management & distribution management.  Mohan Selvaraju also worked as a Consultant during his tenure of working in MNC Company Management Team in Supply Chain Management, Store/Warehouse Management, Inventory Planning & Materials Control & Logistics, Shipping Documentation and Procedures. He has 9 years experience in conducting training programs in Logistics & Supply Chain Related Subjects. His programs are developed along the framework of CILT. 

Mohan has also undergone training in the areas of Communication Strategies; Train the Trainer, Business Process Reengineering, Staff Development Training, etc. He is also well versed in various software & computing programs such as MS WORD, MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Visio, BPCS (Food Industry), MRP, ERP, WMS, SAP  Plus knowledge of operating systems.    

Mohan is a trainer with excellent communication skills & excellent rapport with his participants. He is able to take a complex subject like store, inventory & warehousing and makes it interesting & easy to understand. He is not one who gives academic theories on the subject but rather practical & beneficial tips which the participants can relate to & implement his ideas once back at work.
