TRAINER PROFILE

AIM OF THE COURSE:

Supervisors will understand the importance of their role in between supporting the top management and the staffs below.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

INTRODUCTION:

Supervisors represent the core of management activities. They form the critical communication link between employees and management. Supervisors have to effectively lead and motivate their subordinates to achieve corporate goals.

Supervisor is measured by ‘Successful” and ‘Effective’ and Successful leaders get followers’ performance; behaviour and achieve RESULTS whereas Effective leaders get good feelings; positive attitudes and high commitments from followers. The most important item in the continuum is RESULT therefore a leader can be successful, but ineffective but they cannot be effective, but unsuccessful.

Supervisors cannot, therefore, be left to carry out this important responsibility without prior training. Leaving them to experiment through trial and error is something that neither they nor management can afford.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

Executives or supervisors, whose main responsibility is to supervise people.
